The long, tiresome day was finally over. Zelda had gathered two rations for the day and went to the so called healing station to get a poultice for Link's back. The two older ladies that made the medicines gave Zelda what the could. It was a strange looking substance, not like the creamy, white lotion for burns, but thicker and grayer.

Link's arms were chained to the wall of a dark, damp, rather unpleasant cell. Thoughts swirled throughout his mind like a whirlwind. He felt so stupid, and yet he felt like he had done the right thing. Someone needed to stand up against Ganondorf, but in doing so he had put Zelda and himself in danger.
